After two very enjoyable South West Coastal Path holidays in 2016, we now move further along the south coast and tackle Part Two. We'll be starting in Marazion and will walk around Mounts Bay and The Lizard Peninsula - highlights include Prussia Cove, Porthleven, Mullion Cove, Kynance Cove, The Lizard (of course), Cadgwith, Coverack etc etc. We’ll walk on five days and each day’s distance will be 8-10 miles - for those of you on Part One, it will be much easier overall.
There will be a day off on Wednesday for you to do your own thing – sightseeing, swimming, sleeping, whatever you prefer!
We will be staying in cottages at Trelowarren where everyone can have their own room (unless you want to share). I'm just going to say the words heated pool and onsite spa - check out the website, it is beautiful!
There are 13 rooms available in 4 cottages which are a mixture of doubles and twins. Three rooms have ensuite bathrooms and I will allocate those on a first come, first served basis. If you have to share a bathroom, it will only be with a maximum of 3 other people in your cottage (women only).
Breakfast and lunch are all included (although you will need to make your own sarnies and help setting/clearing the table and loading the dishwasher is always welcome).
Dinner – four nights which we will be catered for (included) and we will eat out on three nights (not included). One night I am planning a beach BBQ!
We’ll be using the reliable and flexible services of Charlie’s Party Bus once again to get us to and from the walks and for those of you coming by train, I shall arrange a shared pickup at Camborne station as Helston doesn’t have one.
You can check out the photos from SWCP Part One here and here.
